So, should we sterilize our cats and dogs? Personally, I feel that neither the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, nor the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. It still depends on how the owner measures and chooses. Since our Coke is a girl, here's a look at the pros and cons of female dog neutering.

My choice
I studied for a long time and struggled for a long time, but I finally chose to sterilize Coke. There are two reasons: first, because I will not let my coke give birth to a baby, if not, then she will be older, the risk of pyometra will be very high, pyometra is not a fatal factor, older on the operating table is a fatal risk, I do not want this to happen to coke in the future. Second, I know several pet friends who have sterilized their own children (mothers) and lived to more than ten years old in good health, and are still alive.
If a friend asks me, will you regret it? My answer is: I don't know, but I hope my decision is right and I won't regret it. Because to tell the truth, sterilization or infertility will have to bear the corresponding consequences. If you choose sterilization, you have to bear the risk of increased morbidity after sterilization, and if you choose not to sterilize, you have to bear the risk of pyometra and not coming down to the operating table. These two choices are gambling to a certain extent. Personally, I don't think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, nor do the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. I only hope that all parents' choices are correct. I only hope that all parents' children will be healthy and healthy regardless of whether they are sterilized or not.
