I struggled for a long time before I was sterilized! Afraid of any accident, after all, reluctant to give up my big baby, several doctors have comforted me all right, this is a very small operation! And neutering is also good for dogs, so I made up my mind to go!
Precautions before operation
1. Neck ring
I bought a cotton one. After all, she has to take it for a long time. She can't sleep with a plastic one. It's uncomfortable.

2. Pet Urine Pad
To prevent the nest from being unclean and the wound infected, she put a urine pad in her nest and changed it every day!
3. Surgical gown
The toilet of my home wants to go downstairs, be afraid of her abdomen to touch dirty thing infection, did one to her oneself ~
Try to give the dog a bath before the operation. You can't take a bath until the wound recovers after sterilization!
Surgery as far as possible do not pick summer, too hot, is not conducive to wound recovery, as far as possible pick during the long vacation ~ this can look at their own, more assured. ~
Do sterilization 6-8 hours of fasting and water deprivation!
I took her there in the morning, so I took her bowl away after dinner the night before. It's better to go in the morning for the operation, so that I have enough time to observe in the afternoon. In case of any accident, I can go to the hospital in time to deal with it.

This was taken when I was waiting in the hospital. The pig was a little nervous.
Surgery
Straight to the hospital in the morning! Unexpectedly, there was a huge Satsuma in front of us who was busy with her operation in the morning. It was not until noon that my family went in for the operation. The doctor told me that it would take about half an hour. Unexpectedly, he told me in just ten minutes! After the nurse took it out, she began infusion and waited for the anesthetic to wake up completely.

In fact, soon she woke up, we wait for the infusion to finish, take her home, the needle did not pick, because it depends on the next day's situation to decide whether to infusion ~
When she got home, she took the cotton collar she bought. She was more acceptable. She was obedient and would not pull it by herself. Elizabeth's collar was not good. She didn't want to take it anyway.
Then the next day went to the hospital to see the wound, said the dog is in good condition, do not need infusion to take the retention needle, direct injection, the third day and another injection on the line ~

But it should be noted that you can't eat and drink water immediately after the operation. It takes several hours. I don't remember the exact number of hours. She was not in the mood to eat at all that night after the sterilization. She was lying down all the time. I fed her some nutritional cream and poured water for her to drink.
