Before I neutered my dog, I read a lot of references and tried to find posts about female dog sterilization on the Internet, and found that there were relatively few. So I wrote down the process of neutering my dog. I hope it will be helpful to others. Now is a week after surgery, the spirit of the dog has not changed much, or as docile as before.
First of all, I am neither a doctor nor a professional, so I can't explain from a professional point of view whether the dog needs sterilization, or whether sterilization has absolute benefits.
Secondly, there are two reasons for our sterilization background. The first is that we have no time to take care of the children of dogs. At the same time, it is difficult for us to find a real dog lover to ensure that every dog child grows up in a loving family; Second, because I am not going to let the dog give birth, I read some information that if the dog does not give birth, the older it is, the more likely it is to get uterine pus or other diseases, and then it will be very painful to get a knife.
Sterilization experience sharing
My dog is 20 catties. Generally speaking, a dog of less than 5kg can buy a set meal of 899 directly. Basically, 1000 yuan can be done. My dog spends more time under anesthesia, and I choose the better one, which is breathable anesthesia. Three days after the operation, the doctor advised me to be hospitalized. Because I couldn't bear to see the dog in the hospital, I couldn't stand her pitiful eyes, so I took her home to take care of herself. It cost nearly 2000 yuan in total.

1. Water and food deprivation for 8 hours before operation
Post-operative care
The first night after surgery: always wearing a headgear, the dog has normal urine and stool, but the movement is relatively slow, afraid to jump on the sofa (used to jump on the sofa to sleep), also afraid to lie down and sit, I guess the wound is painful, so she would rather stand. She had a small bed in my room. She woke up at 3.4am and sat on the cushion. I used to touch her all the time. She was better. I took her to the living room and felt that she needed water. After drinking, she climbed onto the sofa and went to sleep.
The first and second day after the operation: I prepared a nutritious meal for the dog. Because I didn't go to work on Saturday and weekend, I accompanied the dog every day. She seemed to be better and could lie down casually. I always take the dog out and walk slowly. When I meet other dogs, I will avoid them because I am afraid that they will chase me and the wound will be painful.
The 3rd day after the operation: The dog is basically the same.
The 3rd-5th day after the operation: The dog himself regained his liveliness, and I didn't dare to look at the wound.
Friday: It's Friday again. After work, I took the dog to remove the stitches. The stitches were removed quickly, and the dog had recovered very well. 。
