Measure the rectal temperature with a thermometer
At present, measuring rectal temperature is the most accurate, but it is slightly difficult for non-skilled people to operate, which is directly related to whether the dog is easy to control.

Anal thermometer, Vaseline or olive oil, snacks.
Start taking your temperature.
(1) Shake the thermometer, let the mercury column reach 35 ℃, and apply Vaseline or/olive oil to lubricate the outer layer to reduce the irritation to the dog.

Take the temperature of the hind limbs
This is the simplest way to measure body temperature, but the accuracy of measurement is reduced.

Put the measuring end of the thermometer close to the inside root of the dog's hind limb, and then put the dog's leg down and clamp it for 5-8 minutes. At this time, you can use the dog's favorite snacks to comfort him.

Temperature measurement is fast and accurate, and no harm, do not worry about being accidentally injured by the dog fleeing, the price is slightly expensive. Usually, only the relevant departments of quarantine are on standby.

Compare the measured body temperatures
