[Experience Sharing] Little Tangtang accidentally injures and bites people!

It happened on the night of March 16, 2019. That afternoon, I took Tangtang and Audi to play in Binjiang Park. It's fun to bask in the sun and run freely on the lawn, where there are many dogs to play with.

After playing and letting them rest for a while, I took them to the pet store to take a bath! On the way home after washing incense, tragedy happened.

Because it was late and the street lights were not very bright, I was holding two dogs at the same time, and I was accidentally eaten a chicken bone by little sugar! You know, dogs can't eat poultry bones, because it's easy to scratch their intestines and stomach. In addition, small sugar has a bad stomach. This is making me nervous. At that moment, I wanted to dig out the bones without saying a word. I've done this before, so I think there should be no problem. As a result, Tangtang was a little reluctant this time and accidentally bit my hand. Oh my god！ It hurts like hell.

My inner thought was, what? Little Tangtang bit me. What's going on. This supercilious wolf is usually so good to him, and he doesn't know good people. Then I looked at it carefully, and it was wrong. When I pulled something out of my mouth before, the big Audi was not there. This time, because the big Audi was there, the little sugar was afraid of being eaten by the Audi after it was pulled out, so it refused to let go, and it bit me.

My hand, bleeding, small sugar also put the tail up, a little depressed look. I think it must know it's wrong. Later, I treated the wound, fixed the two dogs, and immediately went to the hospital for vaccination.

[How to treat the wound?]

Do not bind up the wound after the dog bites. You need to squeeze the blood from the wound, then flush it with running water for 15 minutes, and then wash it with soapy water. This is the standard way to clean wound. If you

have a pet, you must remember this way of handling it!

[Precautions] Rabies vaccination

After cleaning up the wound, be sure to go to a hospital with a dog injury department to vaccinate against rabies within 24 hours.

If the wound area is too large, the injury is very serious (the wound is deep, or the affected area is the head, face, neck, hand, etc.), in addition to the injection of rabies vaccine, more rabies serum should be injected!

Go to the hospital, describe the details of the bite process, including what kind of animal bites, animal vaccination, the extent and location of the bite, and then deal with it according to the doctor's diagnosis, do not decide privately.

After I told my friends in the WeChat group about this, someone said that if you deliberately ignore it these days and show it the wound, the dog will know it's wrong. I tried it, and it really worked. Little Tangtang also blocked my hand with his hand, as if to say to me, don't blame him, he didn't mean it.

Through this incident, I thought about several things.

One is to suggest that when you feed stray cats and dogs, you'd better use cat food or dog food. If you feed these chicken bones and duck bones, it's easy to eat them by mistake and hurt them.

The second is that food refusal training is very important, so that dogs learn to vomit! If you really can't learn, put on the muzzle.

Third, when dealing with dogs, we should take into account their nature. We should not really treat them as human beings. We should learn to protect ourselves and not let ourselves get hurt.

Fourth, the dog hurt you, must find the reason, early improvement, if it is not careful, the dog will be very afraid and nervous, do not hit them, because they may not know what they did wrong. However, be sure to scold loudly at that time, because the dog is through the tone to identify the owner's meaning, loud scolding can be achieved to let them know that they are wrong.
