How to Distinguish Interphalangeal Inflammation and Treatment Process
Probably on the night of July 20 this year, I heard the sound of small instant noodles licking things all the time in my sleep. I didn't care that night, but during the day, I found that she had been licking her feet all the time. I felt something was wrong, so I went to observe her feet carefully and found that her left foot hair was almost licked off by her, and the whole finger was swollen. And a small red pustule bulged up. At that time, I felt something was wrong. It must have caused skin disease. I guessed that it was interphalangeal inflammation. So I took her to the pet hospital that night. Sure enough, it was interphalangeal inflammation.
The first step in the treatment of skin diseases is to shave off all the hair on the diseased skin (as shown in the picture above). The second is to choose the right drug. In the early stage, when our dog's interphalangeal inflammation was more serious, I gave her the choice of a double-effect treatment plan of oral administration and external spray. The oral administration gave her the Suno tablets imported from the United States for antibacterial use. This is a relatively recognized anti-inflammatory drug for cats and dogs in the industry, with small side effects and long duration of action. The dosage is 12.5 to 25.0 mg once per 1 kg, twice a day. When I bought it, it was five yuan a tablet. After eating it for almost a week, the redness and swelling were basically eliminated. Speaking of external use, I chose the Pitphen spray on e pet, which is also sprayed on the affected area twice a day. It should be mentioned here that after spraying the medicine, the dog will lick the place where the medicine has just been sprayed. If the owner does not pay attention, the dog will accidentally eat the medicine. So the owner had better hold the dog for five to ten minutes after spraying the medicine. The purpose is to let him not lick the affected area. Then give the dog to buy a pair of Elizabeth ring wear, because the dog licked the affected area will often keep wet, cause bacterial growth, the disease will be better slowly, because if the dog licked the inflamed left foot and then licked the healthy right foot, then it is easy to cause cross infection, making the right foot also began to inflame, here I want At first, I bought a small sunflower Elizabeth circle for instant noodles (picture 1 below), but it turns out that this style is not useful for dogs, because it is too soft, he should lick or lick, scratch his ears or scratch, there is no blocking effect, so I suggest you buy the Elizabeth circle like picture 2 below, the effect is better. How to effectively prevent interphalangeal inflammation?
Finally, I would like to talk about how to effectively prevent interphalangeal inflammation, because interphalangeal inflammation is easy to occur in a humid environment, so the first one is to dry the hair on the soles of the feet after bathing the dog. After our dog got interphalangeal inflammation, I concluded that my problem is that when I give him a bath and blow, I often blow the body and head first. Put her foot on the last step to blow, which finally made her sick. And when the dog goes out and comes back, the owner washes his feet or wipes them with wet paper towels, he must dry them, do not give the space for bacteria to breed, and frequently trim the sole hair and nails, and if the dog is accidentally scratched by stones when he goes out, then some bacteria will invade and cause interphalangeal inflammation. Therefore, the owner should consciously check the dog's toes for scars and be diligent in cleaning up the foreign bodies between the dog's toes. Finally, I would like to mention that when we go to the pet store to take a bath, we'd better bring our own dog towel instead of the public towel of the pet store, because no one can guarantee that every dog who goes to the pet store to take a bath is healthy, we can't control others, we can only be the most careful.
