2. 2-3 days after the completion of deworming: Many people will give the dog external deworming just after the bath, and then the deworming medicine will spread to the whole body through the oil of the skin, so the effect of deworming just after the bath will not be so ideal. Kimi takes a bath once a week in summer, so I will choose to give Kimi a deworming 2-3 days after the bath to ensure the effect of deworming.
3. When the physical condition is completely normal: Bathing when the dog's body is abnormal or uncomfortable will aggravate the dog's condition. I usually bathe Kimi 3-4 days after he recovers from his illness. During the illness, even if it stinks, I can only endure it.
Other considerations
1. The skin structure of dogs is different from that of human beings. When bathing dogs, we must choose professional pet shower gel.
2. After the dog takes a bath, be sure to dry the hair, otherwise it is easy to catch a cold and get skin diseases.
A list of bath products
1. Shower gel: The two types of shower gel used by Kimi are relatively mild. One is Beibang imported from the Netherlands, and the other is Aichong from Japan. They are both reliable brands, but they are not high-end brands. If you use ISB or something like that, it will be better.
2. Hair conditioner: Duomeijie was purchased during the activity. There are too many imported brands to choose from, so there is no rigid recommendation here. Just buy a better brand, depending on your own economic situation.
3. Dilution bottle: You can choose the dilution bottle according to the size of the dog. I bought a 250ml bottle for Kimi. It is enough to dilute one bath. Large dogs may need to buy a 500ml bottle.
4. Towel: I chose Soggy Doggy's chenille towel, also known as caterpillar towel. The disadvantage is that it becomes very heavy after absorbing water and is not easy to clean. The imitation deerskin square towel is also a very common choice.
5. Blower: I didn't buy this because Kimi mainly washes at pet stores. If your dog mainly washes at home and his hair is long, it's necessary to buy a blower.
Bathing process
Step 1: Wet the dog's body with water first, because the dog's head is more sensitive, you can wet the dog's buttocks first, then wet the body, and finally the head. Step
2: If the shower gel needs to be diluted, mix the water and shower gel in a dilution bottle and then pour it on the dog to make a foam. If it's a shower gel that doesn't need to be diluted, you should also rub the foam on your hands first. The process of bathing can be repeated twice. Step
