One Mental preparation
I think a lot of people may have a hot head. When they see how cute other people's children are, they buy one casually. Many friends around me want to raise cats and dogs when they see that I have them. They think it's very simple, but in the end they give up after a few months. I think this is irresponsible for families and children, so before you plan to raise children, please seriously consider:
1. Can you afford it?
Everyone should know that keeping a dog, especially a large dog, costs a lot of money for food, clothing, shelter and transportation. Take my family for example in October, more than 20 kilograms of dog food a month (more than 1000 fast), a number of snacks, vegetables and fruits, daily eggs, chicken breasts, braces, dog chains, small clothes, to go out to take a bath (two or three hundred at a time), to go swimming (two or three hundred at a time). Sick medical treatment (there is no upper limit), this should be considered first, if you do not have a job in school, or unstable work and low income, I do not recommend raising, dogs suffer, people are also aggrieved.
2. Can it be raised?
Is there enough dog space in the home? Is there anyone at home to take care of him when he goes out? Are dogs allowed to walk around? Can I get a dog license? Dogs need to go to the hospital regularly for physical examination. In October, this kind of lop-eared dog needs to clean its ears every few days, shave its feet, deal with its anal glands (very smelly), and walk the dog regularly and quantitatively every day (a lot of exercise). Can you insist? You go out to work at six o'clock in the morning and get off work at nine o'clock in the evening. Do you have time to walk the dog, feed the dog and take care of him? Is it possible to take care of him 365 days a year? If you are afraid of being dirty and tired, I don't recommend it.

3. Do all family members agree?
This one is very important. If you live alone, it's okay, but if it's a family, do your spouse, parents and other family members agree? Are there any children at home? Can you accept if a child scratches and bites a child? Do you plan to get pregnant and have children later? How does be pregnant to give birth to hair child to do? If you are still a student and go out to study for half a year, are your children taken care of by their parents? Therefore, I suggest that we must hold a family meeting to discuss all these issues clearly, and communicate well with each other's minds and attitudes towards Mao's children. If there is no consensus in the family, then it is not recommended to raise them.
4. Can I see a doctor when I'm sick?
Hairy children will definitely get sick, just like children, puppies are also very easy to get sick, and some breeds, such as October, will also have family genetic diseases (October is easy to get fat and hip problems), how to treat the occasional cold and fever? Do you know that human medicine can be a poison for dogs? If it is a serious illness, such as kidney failure, heart disease, need to take medicine for a lifetime, or need a lot of money to maintain life, what do you do? Is it treated? Will it be abandoned?

5. Whether to sterilize or not and how to have children?
The child has grown up and become an adult. Should he be sterilized? Do you know the advantages and disadvantages of sterilization or non-sterilization? Do you plan to have a puppy if you don't have a baby? What about the puppies that are born? Please be responsible for the happiness of your child's life.
6. Can you accept that you have to make certain sacrifices?
Probably have to walk the dog at five in the morning, okay? You can't go out to play on Saturdays and Sundays. You have to take care of the dog at home, can you? Do you want to take a long trip every year? What about the dog? If you can't work overtime every day for your dog, you have to get off work on the hour, can you? Everything in the house has dog hair, and you happen to be a neat freak, okay? The dog went out to play in the mud and stepped on the carpet when he came home, okay? Are you all ready?

If the above six questions can be considered clearly, ready to work hard without complaint, no one praises you, relatives will never understand you, go out with dog hair, go home to be licked with saliva, then congratulations, you have completed 90% of the preparations before picking up the hairy child home! I think psychological preparation is the root of everything, after all, food and clothing can be simple, as long as you have a firm heart to take care of the dog for a lifetime, it is enough!
Two Goods preparation
Here let me talk about the necessities I prepared for October.
1. Eat
October is only one month old, so you need to prepare puppy dog food + goat milk powder, you need to use warm milk powder to brew dog food, otherwise you can't bite in October. If you want to raise a younger dog (not recommended, because dogs that are too young still need their mother's breast milk, it is recommended to take them home after two months), please prepare bottles and goat milk powder.
I bought calcium supplements and probiotics.
2. Wear
If it is winter, it is recommended to buy small cotton clothes for the dog, after all, the age is small, the winter is too cold or need clothes to keep out the cold, when I came back in October, it was summer, so I was not prepared.
3. Use
I have prepared a lot of things for this, including a small cage and a big pen (a little bigger can be used), a urine pad, a rice basin, a water basin, a small pad (for sleeping), a cotton swab for ear cleaner, a deodorant (it's hard to avoid urinating in the house), and an electric shaver for shaving feet. Combs, collars, etc.
He bought a fence for him, and this area was all his, with blankets, urine pads and cages.

The big rice bowl in October was not replaced until it was more than one year old.
4. Ok
In order to pick him up, I bought an air box, put a waterproof mat on the back seat of my car, and bought a small collar and chain (it turned out that I thought too much, and October was so small that I took it away).
Until now, when I go out by car, I also lay a waterproof mat for him, so that the car is easier to take care of. I will never let him stay in the trunk. It's too aggrieved.
Three What should I set up before I go home?
1. Before you leave to pick up your dog:

2. After receiving the dog, before entering the house:
I suggest taking the dog directly to the regular hospital for physical examination. Because there are a lot of places to buy dogs are not regular, I also sent them to the pet hospital before I took them home in October. I did a routine physical examination (ear mites, tinea corporis, etc.), did a blood routine and checked whether they had been vaccinated, etc. At the same time, I used external deworming drops and oral internal deworming. Vaccination is recommended two weeks after the dog enters the house to prevent stress reactions, while rabies vaccination is recommended when the dog is 4 months old, which is too small to damage the body.
