Because the grizzly bear was very small at that time, the doctor did not use a medicine feeder. He broke the corners of her mouth directly, then put the tablets into her throat, and then closed her mouth tightly for about 10 seconds. The grizzly bear swallowed the tablets completely. The anthelmintic used in the body is albendazole tablets, a regular anthelmintic.
(2) In vitro deworming
The grizzly bear's first in vitro deworming, I really did it in the pet hospital, because she was too young at that time, and the medicine of drops was much larger than that of spray. The doctor chose Fulaien spray for in vitro deworming. When doctors use spray to deworming medicine for grizzly bears, they first put on a protective head ring for grizzly bears. Then put the nozzle at a position 1-2cm away from the grizzly bear's hair, and spray the hair against the hair, basically soaking the hair and skin all over the body. After that, rub the sprayed area repeatedly for a while, so that the drug completely covers the skin and hair. After that, when the grizzly bear's hair was dry, I took her home. However, it is worth noting that when doctors use Fulaien for deworming, they specially wear gloves and masks, and open the windows above the hospital, that is, when using Fulaien spray for in vitro deworming, try to keep it in a ventilated environment.
Let's talk about Fulian again. I believe shoveling officials are no stranger to this name. Fulaien has the functions of killing and controlling fleas and ticks in vitro. Fleas and ticks are killed by contact killing. Fleas and ticks are killed when they come into contact with skin or hair. Fulian does not enter the pet's body and blood circulation, do not have to worry about damage to the pet's liver function. So relatively speaking, the practicality is very strong and relatively safe. Facts have proved that this in-vitro insect repellent spray is really quite useful, that is, it is somewhat troublesome to operate, but it is still acceptable for shoveling excrement officers with strong hands-on ability, which is relatively mild and safe.
After a week (more than a week) of in vitro and in vivo deworming, the grizzly bear did not feel any discomfort, so I took her to have a vaccine. We have three shots of vaccine and one shot of rabies.

First Principle: Safety
The grizzly bear deworming is to prevent the grizzly bear from being harmed by parasites. The starting point is the health of the grizzly bear. Therefore, deworming cannot be carried out at the expense of grizzly health, and safety is the first principle of deworming.
In vivo deworming, choose in the grizzly bear in excellent condition, very healthy circumstances, at the same time do not feed the medicine in the grizzly bear on an empty stomach. Insect repellent is a kind of irritant to dog's intestines and stomach. If she chooses to feed insect repellent on an empty stomach, it is likely to cause grizzly bear to vomit or have stomach diseases. The time I chose to feed the grizzly bear deworming medicine was about two to three hours after breakfast, just like humans. After the grizzly bear ate the anthelmintic, I fed her lunch every two hours. During this period, I didn't let her eat or drink any more, for fear that it would affect the full play of the drug effect.
In vitro deworming, ready for ventilation, disposable medical rubber gloves and to prevent grizzly bears from swallowing and licking duck beaks by mistake. Ensure that the shoveling officer and the dog master work together safely for external deworming.
2. Two basic points: grasping both inside and outside the body
I deworming the grizzly bear family in two weeks, mainly because the grizzly bear is too small and afraid that her body cannot bear too many toxins from deworming drugs at one time.
(1) Internal deworming
The choice of anthelmintic agents in the body is varied, but the dosage of anthelmintic agents in the body must be measured according to the weight of the dog. Specifically, you can consult a pet doctor or take it according to the instructions. One thing that needs to be explained in advance is that when you feed your dog anthelmintic, maybe you can't find parasites in your dog's poop. Don't worry about the ineffectiveness of the anthelmintic at this time, because it is possible that many parasites will be discharged in the form of fragments after being killed in the body, so they can't be seen by the naked eye. Not seeing the insects expelled does not mean that there is no need for the failure of deworming in the body.
Although I prescribed deworming medicine in the body from the pet doctor, after comprehensive consideration, I re-entered Bayer as the second deworming medicine in the body of grizzly bears. Bayer's main ingredients are imidazoles, which have the widest anti-insect spectrum and the best effect, but the adverse reactions are slightly higher. Because the grizzly bear's performance is relatively normal, and his mental state and physical condition are relatively good, I chose him for a relatively wide range of internal deworming.
According to the instructions, dogs under 3kg take 1/4 tablets. This time the grizzly grew up and was very smart. I didn't open my mouth at all when I fed her medicine. Due to inadequate preparation, I didn't buy a medicine feeder, so I tried to feed her with the medicine in a carrot. What made me helpless in particular was that she spit out the carrots, then chewed them one by one, sniffed them, ate all the non-medicated ones, and all the ones slightly stained with medicine were still in the bowl. In a fit of anger, he used force to hold the grizzly bear's neck, holding her face and controlling her to open her mouth and push the deworming medicine into her throat Σ( ° △ ° | | |)︴. Finally, it is a good ordeal. I have to say that the palatability of Bayer's internal drive is too poor (;'. The Д').
In the morning, I fed insect repellent, and at noon, I put some probiotics in dog food, because how much medicine I took would still burden the grizzly's intestines and stomach. After adjusting it with probiotics, the grizzly bear was obviously "irritable" in the afternoon. Perhaps the medicine was working. He had a big temper. When playing with her, he almost bit my hand several times. Uh-huh, I didn't sleep during the afternoon nap. Fortunately, however, the next day, it returned to normal and became mild and good-natured ~ (≡≡)/~ la la la la la.
Since Bayer's internal drive is very effective, but its palatability is very poor, I also entered Canine Heart Protection as a backup option. The brand of dog's heart protection is to deal with heartworm. The ingredients contain ivermectin (although the content is extremely low), but Collies cannot be used, but grizzly bears are poodles and do not have this problem. heartworm is not common in China, as long as do a good job in vitro deworming, cut off the main route of transmission of heartworm-mosquitoes, in most cases it is difficult to infect heartworm, but can not be careless. The reason why Canine Heart Protection was not the first choice before is also very simple. His range of deworming is far smaller than Bayer. Moreover, before the grizzly bear's physical examination, there was no politics of being infected with heartworm. Besides, it was still winter, so I chose Bayer first. However, since Bayer's medicine is too hard to feed, you can still consider choosing Canine Heart Protection as a supplement.
(2) External deworming
In vitro anthelmintics can be divided into drops and sprays, which can be purchased according to their own needs.
The grizzly bear's second in vitro deworming was done by me at home. Originally, I planned to buy Fulian drops for the second deworming, but the doctor said that Fulian, as a non-prednil, is indeed efficient and can be used occasionally, but it is not suitable for long-term use. In particular, the drops were 40 times more medicinal than the spray, and finally recommended another drop to me. I thought about it and planned to wait until the grizzly bear was a little older and was using Fleon drops. This time I used this combination to deworming outside the home:
Because the grizzly bear is still in its growth period and it is not very good to measure her neck circumference, I did not like the pet hospital, but entered this yellow duck bill to prevent the grizzly bear from swallowing the external insect repellent by mistake.
The in vitro deworming method of this drop is to break the opening and remove the tube cover. Then, bring a duck beak to the grizzly bear and gloves to yourself, and then separate the hair on the front of the shoulder blade behind the grizzly bear to expose the skin (ps: if the dog's skin is damaged, it cannot be deworded outside the body). Let the opening of the medicine tube directly contact the skin of the grizzly bear, and squeeze the medicine tube to squeeze the whole tube of liquid medicine onto a skin without massaging the medicine area. Then along the spine, on the belly, chest, neck, tail and feet of the grizzly bear. In this process, try to put the liquid on the grizzly bear's skin instead of hair. After that, wait for the fur of the grizzly bear to dry naturally. Don't use a hair dryer or towel to dry, so as to achieve good results. In addition, because grizzly bears have serious ear mites, I dropped a small part of the medicine near her ears during the deworming outside the home.
It is worth noting that the use of drops for in vitro deworming, medication after 2-3 days do not give the dog a bath, so I was to give the dog a bath on the third day, in vitro deworming.
It seems that the grizzly bear really doesn't like to take this duckbill very much, but I'm really afraid that she will lick the anthelmintic before her hair is dry. I still took it down to bring it to her. The grizzly bear coated with the anthelmintic in vitro is obviously more excited. It is not convenient to put it on the ground to observe her situation. Just as I have to change the quilt cover, I took her to take her to bed and let her free. It was not until it was basically dry that she was put down and changed into a quilt cover.

The amount of insect repellent drugs for dogs should also pay special attention. Pet doctors are strictly in accordance with the dog's weight to determine the dog's dosage, so you should strictly follow the regulations when feeding insect repellent drugs to your dog. Don't think that after taking 3/4 drugs, there is still some waste of 1/4 left. Fortunately, all of them are given to the dog. This is completely wrong. If the situation is serious, it will kill the dog.
(3) deworming should be carried out under the condition of dog health
Dogs are not suitable for deworming when they are weak and suffer from other serious diseases. After giving the dog anthelmintic drugs, you can take some probiotics and other gastrointestinal products to relieve the irritation of the anthelmintic drugs on the dog's intestines and stomach and help regulate the dog's intestines and stomach. Dogs may have symptoms of vomiting and other discomfort after taking the medicine. Generally speaking, they will recover within 48 hours. If the symptoms are serious or the time is too long, also promptly sent to a professional pet hospital for examination.
4. Prevention and consolidation after deworming
At ordinary times, I never feed grizzly bears some raw meat or the like in my diet. I always feed her nutritious dog food as the staple food. If meat is fed as supplementary food, it is quantitatively fed to grizzly bears after being boiled. Why can't feed raw meat? Because raw meat contains a lot of bacteria and parasites, are likely to cause her to be infected with parasites, etc., for long-term only meat-fed dogs, but also easy to picky eaters, nutritional imbalance and even the emergence of dental calculus, bad breath and so on.
The deworming effect of 3. grizzly bears
Generally speaking, it is very lucky that deworming inside and outside the body really helps grizzly bears stay healthy. And, basically, the grizzly bear's ear mite problem is treated.
When the grizzly bear first arrived at our house, there were more serious ear mites. It may be that her mother and father were infected with ear mites and used a lot of therapeutic agents intermittently. At the beginning, she was very young and did not dare to use ear drops, but only dared to clean her ear canal with clean ear cleaning oil. That period of time was long and painful. It may be the first time in vitro deworming. I didn't dare to clean her face with spray. The encirclement and suppression of ear mites was not successful. After that, during the vaccination period, Erkang's ear drops were used for treatment. The effect was much better than ordinary ear cleaning oil. Grizzly bears were not so disgusted, but after 21 days, they still produced ear mites. The turning point was that after the second exorcism, during the second exorcism of grizzly bears, I applied a little exorcism to the outside of her ear contour, and the effect was immediate. In less than 3 days, ear mites cannot be removed from grizzly bear ears with ear drops or ear cleaning oil ~ (≡≡)/~ la la la la. Now the grizzly bear's ears are only slightly red, and there is basically no mite problem.
