Pay attention when going out

1. When you go out to play with your baby, you should first clean and massage your feet with foot foam, then dry them, then apply claw cream, and then let them walk on the ground for about 10 minutes.

2. Wear traction for about 20 minutes before going out, because the baby has learned to accompany, and will not be too active if there is a traction rope. Let it move freely and pay attention to the time to avoid frequent running and jumping.

The neglected dangling toe is broken!

It remains due to genetic problems and has no actual function. Most dogs have hanging toes, but it is easy to be ignored, especially my dog's black fur and black toes, which are easy to grow too long without paying attention to trimming, and break after outside activities.

One day, after he came back from a walk, he licked the soles of his feet on the sofa all the time. It was different from usual, and he was very resistant to touch the soles of his feet. He saw that the hanging toes were broken and there was blood, so he licked them all the time in pain.

How to deal with

Because the hanging toes are very long, they are not trimmed in time. Summon up the courage to cut off the broken toe part, wipe and disinfect it with iodophor, apply anti-inflammatory cream, recover after about 5 days, and the broken hanging toe will continue to grow out.

So after bathing the dog at ordinary times, we must pay attention to trimming the hanging toes above, so as to avoid the baby suffering. Generally, about 3-5 days after the birth of a puppy, you can ask a veterinarian to amputate the hanging toe of the dog. The trauma is very small, but it feels cruel. Regular trimming of pet treasures with hanging toes is very important and can not be ignored.

Prevention is better than cure for interphalangeal inflammation

We know that when dogs are outside, the soles of their feet often touch the ground, which can easily breed bacteria and fungi. Shoveling officials usually use wet wipes or foot washing cups. If they are not dried, it is easy to form interphalangeal inflammation.

A friend's dog has had interphalangeal inflammation, so the care of the sole of the foot is also a special reminder. The common symptom

of interphalangeal inflammation is that the dog's toes will be red, then grow a small pimple, and then become a big bump. After swelling, the dog's feet dare not touch the ground because of pain, and it will limp when walking. Once after the rain, he went outside to play and stepped on a place with water. When he got home, he quickly took measures to dry the hair on the soles of his feet with a hair dryer, and then cut the hair on the soles of his feet short. Because the key to prevent interphalangeal inflammation is to keep the foot pad dry and avoid external stimulation.

Other matters needing attention:

1. After bathing the dog, it is recommended to dry the hair on the soles of the feet first. Dogs with luxuriant hair on the soles of the feet should be trimmed frequently.

2. After walking the dog and cleaning the soles of the feet with a foot washing cup or foot cleaning foam, dry them with an absorbent towel or a hair dryer.
