Walking is the only way for domestic dogs to get in touch with the outside world. Last time I shared the necessary items for taking a dog for a walk. This time I want to share what to do after walking home.

Walking home must do things

after the dog came home dirty after playing outside (dirty is the performance of having fun ~), are you always in a hurry at the door, wiping this and looking at that. Especially when two or more dogs are still disobedient, they are even more confused ~

originally, their good mood has been made unhappy.

What should we do?

1. Plan the porch of your home

When all you want is at hand, will it be very smooth to do things ~ so after planning the entrance, the necessary things to walk home will be easy to do.

Through the experience of "many years", I arranged the porch of my home as the picture above (according to the situation of my own home ~)

2. Pre-conditions-let the dog learn to wait

When there is only one dog in the family, it is easier to grab it and wipe your feet slowly ..

but when there are two or more, you must let the dog learn to wait ~

I let our dog learn to wait through habit formation. At first, even if you step on the leash, you can control them and let them know that this is a ceremony to go home. After wiping their feet and feet, they will be rewarded with snacks every time, and the dog will slowly like this ceremony. Therefore, I will put a small can of snacks near the door on the tea table at home to reward the dogs.

I let go of ALFY and Buddy's little cookies. The main reason is that this jar is especially easy to use, easy to open, and beautiful on the tea table. You can also add any other snacks after eating the biscuits ~

3. Conventional Action Line (Operation Jiojio)

When you get home, let the two be quiet. Sit on a small stool (also the stool of the dog toy storage box), call a small dog and take off his collar. Then you can pick it up and wipe jiojio ~

Then take out wet wipes and paper towels from the coffee table in front of you. On the left hand side of the ground is the cleansing foam.

1. I usually wipe the canthus of the dog with wet wipes to wipe off dirty things such as eyedroppings.

2. Then wipe the Mao Mao on the chin and the edge of the mouth (dogs like to smell everywhere, so it is easier to get some dirt on the chin);

3. Then wipe the buttocks and urine places;

4. Finally, pick up the clean foot foam and start to wipe jiojio. Use a clean foot foam brush to brush jiojio, then dry it with a paper towel, and finally wipe it again with a wet towel to ensure it is clean. ~

After wiping jiojio clean, spray a little anal gland deodorization spray (the spray is placed next to the clean enough foam) and it will be done ~ (because our big dog's ass is always inexplicably smelly, and it will be much better after spraying)

4. Foot care and wound treatment

daily care: usually two or three times a week, after wiping jiojio, I will make a simple foot spa for two with the ointment repaired by sole care (the ointment is placed on the tea table in front of me). In fact, it is to wipe the ointment with your hands and massage it a few times ~

Wound treatment: when dogs play outside, it is inevitable that jiojio will have some abrasions and so on, or small friction between dogs may be cleaned up. At this time, we need to do some simple wound treatment. Our family usually uses fairy water (fairy water is also placed on the tea table in front of us) to spray it (if the wound is serious, we must see a doctor in time).

There are also times when the dog may have some minor fungal infections in jiojio. I will wipe between my toes with a cotton swab and iodophor to help inhibit the fungus.

5. Clean up the mess

After getting rid of the two puppies, you need to throw away the wet wipes, paper towels, cotton sticks, etc. The last is to pack two out of the traction rope and other items. The traction ropes, which I put in the basket at the door, are neat and easy to take.
