The sky is falling! My hairy child is lost.

Last winter, when the owner took Yangyang out for a walk, Yangyang was attracted by a stray dog. While the owner was not paying attention, he broke free of the rope and ran after the stray dog and got lost. After 5 days of frantic searching, we finally found him. This experience really made me unforgettable. In those days when Yangyang was lost, my friends and I really felt that every day was like a year! I am here to share the process, hoping to give parents a reminder.

One day in November

2018, I suddenly received a phone call from my friend. She cried and said to me, "Yangyang is lost!"! Suddenly, my whole person is not good, it is a bolt from the blue! I rushed to my friend's house as fast as I could. My friend was so silly that he didn't know anything except crying with Yangyang's toys. However, anxiety can not solve the problem at all, what we need most now is to calm down, and then find the most effective way to shorten the time to start the search operation!

I didn't have the experience of looking for a lost dog before, but the first instinct that came to my mind was to post a revelation. We went to the print shop to make a hundred copies, and we were ready to paste them while looking for them. Then I began to search the Internet for solutions to lost pets, hoping for a miracle..

Lost within 3 hours

Search range: within 500 meters of the lost place

Generally speaking, within three hours, the dog treasure would wander around his home. There were four of us at that time. We looked around the community and went to several places where Yangyang usually liked to go, but we didn't find any trace of Yangyang.

We searched every floor of every building and asked a lot of people in the community, but we didn't get any effective clues. He went to the property to see the monitoring of the community and saw Yangyang running out of the community. So we searched and sent the news of Yangyang's loss to various Wechat groups, moments and micro-blogs, and then continued to expand the scope of the search.

Lost 3-12 hours

Search range: within 1 km of the lost place

We expanded the scope of our search, taking Yangyang's favorite toys with us and calling his name as we searched. We focused on the hidden environment such as parking lot, garden and back corner of the building, and then asked the shops, doormen, sanitation workers and parking toll collectors around the community (people with relatively fixed activities in this area) to help pay more attention.

We post a message every 50 meters, hoping that more people can see it. It was already dark before we knew it, which made our search very difficult, but none of us would give up, because finding Yangyang was more important than anything else!

Lost 12-48 hours

Range of search: 3 km within the radius of the lost place

Everyone knows the "golden 72 hours" of search, so this time period is very important. Lack of manpower was our biggest problem, so we found all the people who could start, a total of eight people together to find Yangyang. Inspiration and the circle of friends are also continuing to synchronize, and people have begun to provide clues, but most of them are ineffective, so we have to continue to look for them step by step.

It suddenly occurred to me that Yangyang had been away from home for so long that he should be hungry. We began to focus on finding garbage cans, restaurants and other areas where it was easy to find food.

Lost 48-72 hours

Range of search: 5 km within the radius of the lost place

Seeing that the "golden 72 hours" are about to pass, we are burning with anxiety. I left my friend at home, fantasizing that Yangyang might find his way home by himself, and the rest of us continued to search. We went to all the pet stores and pet hospitals to inquire, thinking to see if there were any kind-hearted people who had picked up Yangyang and sent him there. However, the reality is always very cruel, or did not find Yangyang.

Lost for more than three days

Search area: 5 km away from the lost place and continue to expand

To tell you the truth, I also started to beat a drum in my heart, and I don't know if I can find Yangyang. But thinking about his lovely little appearance (although he actually has more than 60 pounds) acting like a spoiled child in my arms, thinking about if he was captured by bad people. My heart is really like a knife.

Friends to help because of their own things have gone, leaving only me and Yangyang Baba, we do not want to give up, as long as there is a glimmer of hope, we will continue to look for it! During this period, some kind-hearted people called to inform us of the clues, and we followed the clues to find them at the first time, but we did not find Yangyang. Where the hell is he?

On the fifth day of the loss, Big Fat Yang returned smoothly!

In fact, Yangyang is not far away from us.

By the fifth day, we were almost exhausted, and we didn't sleep or eat much (because we were really not in the mood). I think we should look for it nearby, because it is unlikely to go too far with Yangyang's physical strength. So we continued to start a blanket search about 2 kilometers around the community. I really don't believe it. In the park behind the community (less than 3 kilometers away from the community), we really saw Yangyang!

Unexpectedly, we once passed by.

It turned out that he slipped into the park and was found by the park workers and adopted temporarily. When we came to look for him, we didn't see the workers, so we missed it perfectly. When I saw him, this guy was playing happily and heartlessly, and he was really going to be so angry that he vomited blood! When we rushed to hold him and cried loudly, he didn't know what had happened. This stupid dog!

Yangyang finally went home!

The worker didn't want to give it back to us, so we showed him the video and photos of Yangyang in our mobile phone to prove that it was the owner. In addition, my friend and I cried and talked, and finally the worker agreed to give him three thousand yuan as a reward to return Yangyang to us. All right, Chubby, we can go home!
