Then the endometrium will secrete a lot of nutritious substances (highly nutritious substances, in order to become pregnant, the endometrium will secrete a lot of nutrients to assist the implantation of the pregnant embryo and provide a basic source of nutrients).

at this time if the animal is in proestrus or estrus, the cervix will open slightly, the bacteria in the vagina will easily pass through the cervix and enter the uterus to reproduce, the most common bacteria is Escherichia coli, causing infection.

This disease has a long onset time and is mainly caused by chronic endometritis. The disease is related to the ovary and blood containing progesterone. Due to the high concentration of hormones in the blood, the endometrial resistance is reduced, resulting in E. coli and other bacterial infections, causing endometritis, due to inflammatory stimulation caused by cervical hypertrophy or stenosis of the uterine exudate can not be discharged, and accumulation in the uterus.

The doctor said that they were actually a little late and the abscesses were a little big. The next step is to do a preoperative examination, because the flower roll is already 6 years old, and it is a bit too old to bear anesthesia, so the preoperative examination is necessary. During the nursing period, I also sent videos and photos of the dog to me every day. This was the first day after the operation.

About the prevention of uterine pyometra

Since this disease is a high-incidence disease for dog sisters, sterilization is a very good method for this disease, but now there are many sayings that it is not necessary to sterilate dogs for diseases that have not yet occurred. It is reasonable to exist. Since this organ exists, there is a reason for it. Sterunization also has certain disadvantages, such as obesity, cardiovascular aneurysm, hypothyroidism, etc. This depends on how the dog owner considers it.

then how to prevent this disease? my personal advice is this: if the owner can accept sterilization, it is best to take the dog to sterilization when he is in good health, which avoids the risk of getting too old on the operating table. If you really don't want your dog to be sterilized, you 'd better take your dog to have a physical examination every year. After all, the onset period of this disease is relatively long, and you may not be able to pay attention to it in the early stage, because the performance in the early stage may not be obvious. If you take your dog to have a physical examination regularly, the sooner you can find the problem and solve it.
