What should we pay attention to in the sterilization of male dogs?

Preoperative examination

The sterilization operation of the male dog is much simpler than that of the female dog, and the recovery cycle is faster than that of the female dog. Observe the mental condition of the dog and the good condition of the stool, and send it to the pet hospital for sterilization operation (8 hours before the sterilization operation need fasting and water deprivation). Before the sterilization operation, my cool card did a preoperative physical examination, which is also a test of its physical condition. I suggest that it must be done. Anesthesia is still risky, preoperative physical examination is about 800 to detect liver and kidney function, and then check a blood test to see if there is inflammation, if everything is normal, the operation can be carried out, anesthesia strongly requires parents to choose respiratory anesthesia costs about 5-600, respiratory anesthesia is relatively safe. My family has a long-acting anti-inflammatory injection directly (it can last for a week without going to the hospital frequently).

Postoperative recovery

After the operation, you have to wait for 8 hours before you can feed the dog to eat and drink water as usual. In fact, the post-operative care of the male dog is not difficult, and the wound area is small. You just need to let it rest and not move around. Other eating and drinking as usual, urinating and urinating can be solved at home as far as possible. If not, you can go outdoors to find a clean cement floor and go home immediately after going to the toilet, so as to minimize the contact with external bacteria.
