What are the symptoms of infectious diseases in dogs?

Once the dog is sick, the most obvious is that the mental condition is not good, no appetite, which is the manifestation of the dog's illness. But in addition, if the dog has an infectious disease, it will have a thick nose, blood in the stool, vomiting and so on, which is the manifestation of an infectious disease. Once the dog is found to have these symptoms, do not delay the time and send it directly to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment.

What tests should be done if a dog is suspected of having an infectious disease?

When I was 8 months old, I was suspected of having parvovirus or canine distemper. At that time, Kuka's mental condition was not good, and he had vomiting and bleeding. When we go to the hospital, we have to check whether we have an infectious disease first. Now let's share what we have done to check for infectious diseases.

1. First, the doctor will palpate the dog, observe the dog's mental condition and listen to whether the dog's breathing is rapid.

2. Take the temperature again to determine whether the dog has low temperature or fever.
3. The next step is to do blood routine examination and infectious disease detection. Blood
test routine is about 80-120, canine distemper and small test board (each test board is about 80), the use of infectious disease test paper will touch the dog's saliva, eye droppings, and feces to test, you can confirm which kind of infectious disease the dog has.

My home cool card test results showed that there was no infectious disease, so later the doctor diagnosed as acute gastroenteritis. Of course, I also asked the doctor, if the dog has an infectious disease, it needs to be hospitalized, need to hang water for treatment, about 2-3 days or so, you can see whether the dog treatment results are effective. It takes about three weeks to heal. The cost is about 5-6 thousand.

Dog infectious diseases can be prevented. Let's share how my cool Kahani prevents infectious diseases.

1. Vaccinate the puppy

My home two dogs are 2 months or so to the home, the puppy immunity of childhood is relatively low, is the most easily infected period, and the survival rates is lower than adult dogs, parents must pay attention to the childhood period, the first time the puppy needs to be vaccinated 3 times, to let the dog produce antibodies.

2. Avoid going out and taking a bath with incomplete vaccines

Before complete vaccination, do not take the dog out to contact other dogs, and do not bathe dog. Many young dogs catch a cold because of the cold after bathing. After the resistance decreases, they are infected with infectious diseases. The initial stage is not obvious, and the later stage of the cold becomes infectious diseases.

They are also vaccinated regularly as adults.

There are many people who think that when dogs are vaccinated when they are young, everything will be fine and they will not get infectious diseases. In fact, dogs need regular vaccination every year after they grow up, because the immune effect is also affected by various factors, and regular vaccination every year can continue to prevent infectious diseases.

4. Do daily protection well

The sanitary environment at home also requires parents to clean and disinfect regularly. It is better to choose special disinfectant for pets, which is not harmful to the dog's body (please do not use 84 disinfectant and irritating disinfectant tablets, which are harmful to the dog's sense of smell).

In daily life, we also need to pay attention to the dog's daily warmth to avoid the dog catching cold. These are all effective ways to prevent dogs from getting infectious diseases. Hope that you pick up shit officials, must do a good job in infectious disease prevention!
