See a lot of purebred dog owners will say "so-and-so dog is glass stomach", but there will also be the same kind of dog owners say "my dog is fine, but it is steel stomach ah."
How is glass intestines and stomach made?
The so-called glass stomach means that the dog has a soft stool when he doesn't agree with a word, and diarrhea when he has a slight mistake. There are three common reasons:
1. Naturally weak.

This should be the rarest. It's really hard to say that a certain breed of dog is born with a weak stomach, otherwise how can they survive so far?
2. When I was a child, I had a serious illness and narrowly escaped death.

Parvovirus, coronavirus and canine distemper are the three most terrible diseases threatening dogs in China at present. Some lucky dogs survive with timely and effective treatment from their owners and doctors, but they generally have a "glass stomach" in their growth.
3. The puppy did not do a good job of diet management.

Puppies will become more and more "glass stomach" because of improper diet, or severe diarrhea caused by overeating, or long-term soft stool without enough attention. Therefore, it is generally not recommended to add snacks to puppies too early, especially to chew big bones.
How is the glass stomach bulletproof?
Glass stomach is not the final judgment. If you take good care of it, it will gradually improve in adulthood.
1. Eat regularly, not excessively, and observe the state of stool every day.

What kind of poop is good poop, the owner should know.
2. Persistent soft stool.

If you continue to have soft stools, you need to continue to eat probiotics for a period of time, excluding diseases and insects in your stomach.
3. Occasional diarrhea.

When the stomach is adjusted to a certain extent, don't be careless. If you have occasional soft stools, you can stop eating once and take some probiotics. If the stool returns to normal, gradually return to normal diet and stop using probiotics.
4. Acute enteritis.

If diarrhea suddenly occurs, stop feeding probiotics first.
Observe, if still can not stop diarrhea, go to the hospital immediately to check, rule out the possibility of critical illness and swallowing foreign bodies.
If it is not disease and foreign body obstruction, we should also have our own judgment on medical supervision, after all, doctors sometimes have more theory than experience.
Antidiarrheal drugs should not be taken continuously, otherwise severe constipation may occur. And for diarrhea caused by eating too much at once, antidiarrheal drugs can even cause vomiting if taken too early. I do not recommend taking antidiarrheal drugs immediately, or take probiotics to regulate first, and then try to observe for half a day, if it is ineffective, it is already pulling water and then take antidiarrheal drugs, stop immediately.
