I took the immunization certificate, put Duoduo in the basket, everything is ready, waiting for Duoduo's father's car to pick up, we went to the pet hospital for vaccination!
Ten minutes or so arrived at the pet hospital, Duoduo at home, go out very weak, honest, not noisy, I said to Duoduo: "baby vaccination", perhaps she understood.
Two, get vaccinated!
1. The doctor carefully examined Duoduo's eyes, mouth, ears and skin, and asked if the worms had been repelled? Is your physical condition lively and healthy recently? Is the diet normal? Because the vaccine needs to be injected when the cat is healthy, otherwise it will affect the efficacy of the vaccine.
The vaccine that Duoduo is going to get is Miaosanduo. Cat Sanlian, also known as Miaosanduo, is an imported cat plague vaccine, which is a common product in the world. Cat Sanlian is the only cat vaccine registered for imported veterinary drugs in China. Protects against three common diseases that are highly contagious and cause high mortality: feline distemper (feline panleukopenia), feline calicivirus infection, and feline viral rhinotracheitis.
2. Vaccination is completed in a few seconds. Injection method: subcutaneous injection of shoulder and back. My Duoduo is more than one year old, and it is the second year of vaccination. The time of vaccination is about 8 weeks to 12 weeks, two times before one year old, 21 days apart, and then once a year.
Duoduo is very good. She feels a little scared and doesn't meow. I comforted her and told her to relax.
3. Vaccinate well, immediately paste the sign of Miaosanduo on the immunization certificate, register the date of injection, and make a reference for the time of vaccination next year.
4. After vaccination, I rested in the car next to the hospital for about half an hour to observe whether Duoduo had an immune response, and then went home. Be afraid of catching a cold or something in the hospital, after all, there are a lot of sick cats and dogs.
Third, Duoduo's condition after vaccination
1. After returning home, Duoduo mostly slept on the first and second day, a little sleepy, not lively or noisy, a little depressed, is the reaction of the vaccine, after all, the vaccine is also a weak virus.
2, the diet is not good, eat very little, give her favorite canned chicken, also lost appetite. Vomiting symptoms are not, to the third day, the basic recovery, came to me to play hide-and-seek, will also play with their own ball.
4. Rabies vaccine injection after one week
Rabies vaccine is injected at an interval of one week. The cat's stress reaction is a little smaller. It is used to prevent the occurrence of rabies. Cats over three months old can be immunized. The protection period is one year. They should be vaccinated once a year. There are two kinds of rabies vaccines, imported and domestic.
If the cat was born to live at home, there will be no rabies, such as rabies virus, after vaccination will not morbidity, if people are bitten by cats in the wild, it is best to vaccinate, after being bitten, the immunization should be five injections, known as exposure immunity.
Precautions
Vaccination must go to the regular pet hospital, the source of the vaccine is regular, go to the pet store in case of a fake vaccine, the loss outweighs the gain, the pet store does not have a regular license, can not inject the vaccine, vaccine preservation requires low temperature refrigeration, 2-8 degrees Celsius, poor preservation will be ineffective deterioration. With the immune response, there is no ability to deal with it on the spot, which is also a kind of harm to the baby.
