I am lively and active, and I am very enthusiastic about seeing people. But now he has basically stopped demolishing his home. Now I will share with you my experience in managing dogs and not demolishing their homes.
1. maintain a certain amount of exercise
I believe everyone should know this, not only sled dogs, but also other dogs. If there is enough exercise, he will not have the energy to dismantle the family. My dog is a sled dog, so the amount of exercise is relatively large, because I usually have to go to work, so I will only sneak him after work at night, usually for about an hour and a half, mainly along the grass in the park, let him go when he is halfway through the journey, let him run for a while, and then walk back after a rest. (When the dog is young, he should pay attention to his amount of exercise, otherwise he may run out and hold it back. After he comes home, he is still alive and well, but the excrement shovel officer cannot get up in bed)
2. built a grooming mechanism
for most people who keep dogs, they will buy grinding sticks for dogs, but not all dogs like grinding sticks, and some of them eat grinding sticks as snacks (for example, my dog, a small grinding stick will be in his stomach in a few minutes). So the dog will definitely look for something again after eating. At this time, it is necessary to find something that the dog likes to play and bite. I chose cardboard boxes, because there are more express deliveries at ordinary times, so there is no shortage of sources, and there is also a sound when dogs bite or dig, which is also the dog's favorite.
3. choose to educate at the right time
we all know that dogs will bite things indiscriminately when changing teeth. this is inevitable, so we can only try our best to avoid it. we can find more molars and play things for him, tell him it is wrong to dismantle the house, and let him dismantle the cardboard box or other things that can be dismantled. During the tooth change period of my dog, I specially bought a tube bone for him, and then cooked it for him to grind his teeth. This is much better than the grinding stick, but we must pay attention to the fact that the bone should be large and cooked without too much meat. And don't give chicken bones to dogs. After all his teeth have been changed (the dog's deciduous teeth are sharp and sharp, and after changing the teeth, the teeth are smooth and can be touched by hand), he can be taught not to bite indiscriminately, and this time he should also be the time to learn things.
4. choose a reasonable way of education
my education method should be similar to everyone's, mainly three, beating, scolding and closing.
I believe everyone should know, just pay attention to the way when playing, don't keep chasing, don't play very hard, but hit the point. When my maomao dismantled the house, the first thing was to catch him at the scene of the crime, press him with his hand and let him sit there and not move, and never let him run away during the education process.
When scolding, be careful not to shout at him in the same tone as usual. The voice should be louder and more serious. You should also keep this tone when he makes mistakes. At the same time, when educating him, let him look into your eyes and let him know that you are angry. If he keeps looking at other places, you may not matter to him any more.
The third is to shut down. This is what the dog fears most. After playing and education, he can shut it up. If he keeps repeating this, he will know that he will be locked up if he makes a mistake. My family is directly locked into his cage. (In my family, the cage is the safest place for him. If he makes a small mistake at ordinary times, as long as he runs back to the cage, I will not hold him accountable again. If it is a big mistake, I still have to pull it out for education.)
